WHAT IS THE RATE OF SUCCESS OF HYPNOTHERAPY?

The success rate of hypnotherapy treatment will vary depending on the specific issue or condition which is being treated, as well as the individual's level of motivation and engagement in the therapeutic process. Research has suggested that hypnotherapy can be an effective treatment option for a wide variety of both physical and mental health concerns.

It was found in a review of 18 studies on the use of hypnotherapy for smoking cessation, that hypnosis was a significantly more effective treatment than no intervention or other smoking cessation methods. The research concluded that the success rate for hypnotherapy in helping individuals to stop smoking was around 30%, compared to a success rate of around 10% for all other methods.

Further research indicates that hypnotherapy can also be effective in reducing the symptoms of anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as offering improved sleep quality, a reduction in chronic pain conditions and promoting weight loss.

It should be noted that the success of hypnotherapy depends on a variety of factors. These include the individual's level of commitment to the therapeutic process, the skill and experience of the hypnotherapist, and the specific approach that is used. We would always recommend working with a qualified and experienced hypnotherapist to ensure the best possible outcomes from hypnotherapy.
